Join Yellowhead Tribal Council for a night of 80s-inspired fun, live music, dinner, dancing, and community, all in support of the YTC Youth Council!

Get ready to step back in time and celebrate the decade of big hair, neon colours, unforgettable music, and classic prom memories! Yellowhead Tribal Council is proud to present the 80s Prom Night Gala, taking place on December 4, 2026, at Winterburn Barn in Edmonton, Alberta. This special evening will bring together friends, family, community members, and supporters for a night of dinner, dancing, live entertainment, and plenty of 80s-inspired fun — all while supporting an important cause.

Doors will open at 5:00 PM, and the evening will continue until midnight. The event will be held at Winterburn Barn, located at 21530 103 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. Guests are encouraged to embrace the 80s prom theme and come dressed to impress. Whether your style is neon and bold, glamorous and sparkly, or inspired by your favourite 80s look, this is your chance to bring your best prom style to the dance floor.

The evening will feature live entertainment by Rubix Cubed, giving guests the perfect soundtrack to dance the night away. Come ready to enjoy great music, connect with others, and celebrate together in true 80s fashion.

Tickets are $150 per person, or guests can purchase a full table for $1,500. Tickets and tables must be purchased by November 20, 2026. At this time, payment can be made by cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Please note that e-transfer (EMT) is not currently available as a payment option.

And, of course, no prom would be complete without a little friendly competition! Guests will have the opportunity to compete for the titles of Prom King and Prom Queen. One Prom King and one Prom Queen will each receive a $250 prize. You do not need to attend as a couple or wear a matching costume to participate — individual costumes are absolutely welcome. So start planning your 80s look and get creative!

Most importantly, this gala is being held as a fundraiser for the Yellowhead Tribal Council Youth Council. Your participation will support youth initiatives and create opportunities for young people within the YTC communities. By attending the gala, you are not only enjoying a fun evening with your community but also helping invest in the future of YTC youth.
