Driving the Legacy: Honouring Chief Tony Alexis

We invite you to join us for the Annual Yellowhead Tribal Council (YTC) Golf Fundraiser on May 20, 2026, at The Quarry Golf Club (945 – 167 Avenue NE, Edmonton, AB T5Y 0P6).

This special event brings together community partners, supporters, leadership, and friends for a memorable day of networking, collaboration, and community support. Proceeds from the tournament help support the important programs and services delivered by Yellowhead Tribal Council to its member Nations.

Honouring Chief Tony Alexis

This year’s tournament holds special significance as we honour Chief Tony Alexis for his 13 years of dedicated leadership as Chief of Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, as well as his service as Chairman of Yellowhead Tribal Council and leadership with the Executive of Chiefs.

Throughout his tenure, Chief Alexis has consistently supported YTC staff, students, and member Nations through growth, change, and new development. We recognize his commitment, leadership, and the lasting positive impact he has made across our communities.

Tournament Details

Team Registration: $1,500 per team (4 players)
Check-In: 7:00 AM
Shotgun Start: 8:30 AM

• 18 holes of golf

• Shared cart

• Steak dinner

Participants will also be eligible for:

• Flight cash prizes

• $25,000 Hole-In-One Jackpot

• 3 KP (Men)

• 3 KP (Women)

• 1 Super Jackpot (All Players)

• 1 Longest Putt (Men)

• 1 Longest Putt (Women)
