About Urban Program
Yellowhead Tribal Council (YTC) Urban Program (UP) proudly serves the urban members of Alexander First Nation, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, O’Chiese First Nation, Sunchild First Nation, and current students of the Yellowhead Tribal College.
Work
The purpose of the Urban Programming (UP) is to provide COVID-relief services to our urban members.
These services include:
- Assistance navigating local resources
- Medical transportation for the Elderly and immunocompromised
- Access to virtual counseling and/or Elders
- Up-to-date information on COVID-19
- Access to personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Supports to individuals in isolation
- Emergency food security
