Work

YIEF provides Indigenous education and promotion of lifelong learning in our Nation members’ languages, cultures, traditions, and practices. We support the programming needs of all ages of First Nations learners to ensure quality care for themselves and others. We work in partnership with the Yellowhead Tribal Council and their four member First Nations. We also work with the Yellowhead Tribal College, YTC’s Indigenous post-secondary institution, to support student achievement.

Our charitable organization advocates collectively to collaborate and connect with the Indigenous community to find solutions, build capacity, and implement leading standards of the highest calibre.
