The Yellowhead Tribal Council, CFS Program, is inviting Indigenous organizations and First Nations communities to present at the National Indigenous Child and Family Services Conference, “Resilience in Action: Building Stronger Futures for Our First Nations Families,” taking place from January 21–23, 2025.
We are seeking presenters who have made progress in Child & Family Services (CFS) law development, implementation, and capacity building. In the spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing, we welcome you to share your best practices, challenges, and experiences in implementing CFS law and administering Child & Family Services.
This conference is motivated by the increasing, alarming number of First Nations children under CFS care, highlighting the need for community-driven solutions and support. We would be honored to have your organization or community present, showcasing the initiatives and impact your work has had on Indigenous children and families.

We anticipate 400 participants from across Canada, including CFS professionals, First Nation leaders, technicians, frontline workers, and organizations supporting First Nations children and families in the CFS system.
