Yellowhead Tribal Council Health Logo Design Contest
Join us in commemorating the significance of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) through your artistic expression!
YTC invites submissions from our member First Nations for a logo contest dedicated to the Health Department and MMIWG & TRC. Share your interpretation of what MMIWG & TRC means to you through your artwork.
The winning logo will be prominently featured on our website, promotional wear, and posters during our meetings and events, especially on May 5th, 2024, the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).
Judging of the artwork will be conducted by our YTC Health team members. Your creativity can make a meaningful impact – join us in commemorating and raising awareness for this important cause.

Please send one of the accepted file forms (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG and JPG files) to Darien Roan (Health Admin Assistant) at darien.roan@ytcadmin.ca with the subject line "YTC Health Logo Contest Submission" by Friday, March 22, 2024 at 4:30 PM. By submitting your artwork to the Yellowhead Tribal Council (YTC), you hereby give consent to the Yellowhead Tribal Council to use the artwork in educational materials, publications, websites and any other purposes deemed consistent by YTC in perpetuity. These uses may take print, electronic, digital or any other format deemed appropriate by YTC. I consent to have the contest applicant's artwork, image, name, name of First Nation, age, and/or prize information included in the display of the artwork whenever possible as developed and published in print, electronic, or digital format, including any authorized YTC website and social media. I hereby assign and transfer to YTC all rights I may have to the artwork and any finished product containing the artwork as well as all benefits and advantages that may be derived from the use of the artwork as well as any or all works in a document or digital forms. I hereby declare that I am authorized to grant permission to use the said artwork to YTC. I waive the right to inspect or approve the artwork, or finished version(s) of the uses made of the artwork.
