The Yellowhead Tribal Council (YTC) administration is built upon eight core business areas, each playing a vital role in supporting the organization’s growth, sustainability, and service to member Nations. These departments work collaboratively to ensure YTC continues to flourish and meet the evolving needs of its communities:

• Finance – Manages budgeting, funding, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency.

• Environment – Oversees land stewardship, environmental protection, and sustainable development initiatives.

• In-House Legal Counsel – Provides legal guidance and support to safeguard YTC's interests and uphold Treaty and legal rights.

• Human Resources – Supports staff development, recruitment, and workplace well-being across the organization.

• Wellness & Rehabilitation – Delivers community wellness initiatives and culturally grounded rehabilitation services.

• Information Technology (IT) – Maintains secure, efficient digital systems and supports technology needs across all departments.

• Youth Program – Empowers Indigenous youth through leadership development, cultural engagement, and education support.

• Communications – Manages internal and external communications to ensure transparency, community outreach, and public awareness.
