YTDF – ISETS, Canada Summer Jobs (10) Rate of Pay: $15/hr 
Start Date: June 21, 2021 / End Date: August 13, 2021 (8 weeks)

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be between the ages of 15-30 

  • Must be willing to sign ‘Oath of Confidentiality’
  • *MUST* have a computer at home
  • Must be between the ages of 15-30 (must be 15 at the time of applying)
  • Must have an interest in computer technology and/or communications

  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY- ability to navigate basic productivity software 



  • Entering and importing specific data into YTC database software 
  • Preparing, sorting and uploading documents for data entry
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the data is correct
  • Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information to complete file
  • Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
  • Responding to information requests from authorized users
  • Testing new database systems and software updates before official module launch


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources.
  • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management.

  • Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies 
  • Assist with the coordination of special events (eg. special events, virtual information sessions) 
  • Draft and edit communications copy (eg. website, press releases, publications, social media posts) 
  • Film and edit videos for YouTube channels and other social media
  • Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies
