Completion of Wildland Fire Training – A Commitment to Community Safety

From May 5th to 9th, a dedicated group of individuals from Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation participated in a rigorous Wildland Fire Training program, successfully completing the NFPA 1140 course. This comprehensive training not only reinforced essential firefighting skills but also emphasized the critical role of community safety and wildfire prevention.

We extend our sincere congratulations to all participants for their unwavering commitment and dedication throughout the training. Your efforts have further strengthened Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation's community preparedness and resilience in the face of wildfire threats.
